Harvest Moon DS Releaseterm
Rising Star Games threw in a new announcement, stating that Harvest Moon DS will be released in Europe this Spring. Together with Nintendo that is.
Rising Star Games continues to bolster its 2006 line-up with the announcement it will publish Harvest Moon DS for the Nintendo DS and Harvest Moon Magical Melody for the Nintendo GameCube across PAL territories this Spring. Further, the firm is proud to announce that it will partner with Nintendo of Europe to distribute both titles though its subsidiaries and distribution partners.
The Harvest Moon games occupy a permanent place in the hearts of all who play them, captivating audiences with their charming combination of life and resource management. These fresh iterations will bring challenges and scenarios unique to each of the Nintendo DS and Nintendo GameCube, utilising the individual hardware technology to create Harvest Moon titles that offer something new whilst fitting perfectly within series.
"Harvest Moon DS and Harvest Moon Magical Melody are fantastic additions to our publishing portfolio," says Martin Defries, C.O.O. at Rising Star Games. "The series has grown in quality ever since the initial release in 1997. These two titles will be the best yet, evolving ideas present in the original game and introducing new twists on the much-loved gameplay. We're really excited about both. More so, that we are able to work so closely with Nintendo's distribution companies to ensure that the reach of Harvest Moon is greater than ever before"
Harvest Moon DS and Harvest Moon Magical Melody will be published by Rising Star Games in Spring 2006. Both titles will be distributed across PAL territories by Nintendo of Europe.

Ahh...the GC one looked quite good.
Yeah, I'm looking forward to Magical Melody. Not so much the DS one, looks like a GBA game, but you can touch the animals. :X
Harvest Moon Magical Melody is looking better then Animal Crossing.
Harvest Moon DS will be a nice compliment to Animal Crossing. But, will Wi-Fi be used?
Probably not, how would Wi-Fi be used anyway?
with wifi i guess you could....pet other peoples animals (if thats ..."right"even), or i guess you could trade seeds/plants or something
I was sceptical about the DS one too, but its actuly the best portible one. It has a lot of stuff added into it. And I think its the onlike HM game that has a story othere then save the farm.
they could have a big market place online where you can buy and sell certain stuff that grow in other townsif they put that in like animal crossing, but you can speak to people
