New Super Mario Bros. NA release date?

Could Nintendo Power have revealed the official North American release date of New Super Mario Bros.? Update Official confirmation just came in.

In the latest issue of Nintendo Power, there is an article that mentions New Super Mario Bros. will make it way out on May 7th. The article does not state if this is a Japanese release date or the North American release date, but since it's an American magazine it is probably safe to assume that this could very well be a North American release date. However, this could also be the result of a mistake on Nintendo Power's part, they could have easily "forgotten" to mention that this is suppose to be the Japanese release date for the game since the game is currently scheduled to come out in May there. So our advice is to take this news with a grain of salt... at least until we get more official news about this, which we will let you know about ASAP.
