Liquid Games Continues GBA Support
Liquid Games has announced the release of four GBA titles. Head inside to see which these four are.
Liquid Games, part of Oxygen Interactive, has announced the European release of four Game oy Advance titles, some of which almost ancient. The four titles are: Dave Mirra 2 Freestyle BMX, GT Racers, Tringo and Tokyo Xtreme Racer Advance.
Dave Mirra 2 Freestyle BMX The Dave Mirra franchise has seen a series of sequels since its introduction in 2000, spanning PC, console and handheld formats. But of all the Dave Mirra titles, the best received has been Dave Mirra 2 Freestyle BMX on the Game Boy Advance. Originally published by Acclaim, this game consistently received review scores in the 80 to 90 percent range (and some higher), and will join the Liquid Games family in July 2006. With BMX riding an evergreen favourite amongst kids and teens, this 3D trick-based racer provides family fun, featuring the family-safe gameplay and multiplayer options that are expected from Liquid, along with licensed content and the familiarity of an established franchise.
GT Racers The GT Racers concept has already proved itself on the PS2, its successes include a top-5 slot in the UK budget charts and an outstanding all-formats number one chart position in Italy (an awesome achievement for a "budget" title). Now the series comes to the GBA, bringing all the fun of street-based racing games in a relaxed and family-friendly format. GT Racers' classic top-down action takes the player further a field than its PS2 predecessor, leaving the cities of Europe for the deserts of Africa, the coast roads of Hawaii, suburban USA and the winding country roads on England. With a variety of cars, a choice of game modes and over a dozen tracks, GT Racers is fast paced racing fun at a pocket-friendly price on GBA from July 2006.
Tringo Next in line is Tringo. Fast paced and mentally challenging, Tringo is a classic puzzle game, with a simple concept and enormous longevity, which provides an engaging challenge for all ages. Simple to play but fiendishly hard to master, Tringo's family-safe content, multiplayer mode and a variety of gametypes make this an excellent Liquid Game. With Liquid's research showing that family audiences are keen to buy titles which engage their kids mentally, as well as viscerally, Tringo makes a fine addition to the Liquid Games range of GBA titles.
Xtreme Racer Advance For fans of Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero and Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3, Tokyo Xtreme Racer Advance will take players beyond the open roads of Tokyo and onto the motorways of London and the freeways of Los Angeles. Over 16 unique user-playable cars to choose from. Various levels of car tuning options which allows "Tuner" fans to upgrade and customize their cars with plenty of performance and style modifications. Over 60 rivals to challenge. Race through three cities- Tokyo, London and Los Angeles-on six different tracks.

Dave Mirra 2 Freestyle BMX?! omg That game's REALLY old. I Have it for the GC, it's an excellent game. I expect the GBA to keep getting support as long as the DS has a GBA slot. :)

The gameboy advance games get more and more shallow as attention shifts to the DS. Well, at least I got the GBA movie player.
